Asking someone what they want to be when they grow up might be one of the most audacious things you can ask a person. It's like injecting an anxiety attack into their arm. What if the answer to that was "I want to be a little weirdo", what then? Humans are so much more than their job title. The grown-up-to-grown-up version of that question is "So, what do you do?" I get that small talk can be hard for people, but honestly, you don't care about my job because it has nothing to do with who I am. What I really do is take the pictures, write the stories, and beep boop the computers until the next fun thing comes around. Please come join me, you lil weirdo.
